90a Lorong Macalister is really where the Little Art House philosophy was able to blossom. It was a drop in centre for anyone in Penang who wanted to make or draw. Regular critiques and movie nights made a community grow and in that community, lasting friendships were made. Here we launched some of our most ambitious projects, from the first ever Silent Movie / Live Music film festival in Penang, to the Penang Colouring Book.

What was initially meant to be just a temporary project, became a flourishing creative paradise.
