Celina Loh initially joined LAH Studios for the 72 Hour project as a young emerging artist and has gone on to work internationally as an artist, curator and writer.
She has a profound interest in notions of collectivity and the public sphere, inclusivity and alternative art education. Her current research explores accessibility in cultural institutions for older people and people with learning disabilities in relation to the growing dependence on technology. She obtained her MA in Curating and Collections from Chelsea College of Arts. Celina has curated exhibitions and public programmes across Malaysia and in the UK at Chelsea Space, Zabludowicz Collection and Open Eye Gallery.
She is fluent in several languages, including sign language, and is an inspiration to all of us at LAH as she strives to make art accessible to everyone.
