A member of LAH before it was even called LAH, Fliss Quick arrived in Penang in July 2014, ready to run workshops on how to make drawing automatons, and create art inspired by her experiences here. Our favourite memory of her time here was driving her remote control dog shrine down Armenian Street at 7am to unofficially launch the George Town Festival. She will always be one of our favourite artists, and despite not getting a chance to return to Penang, she has still taken part in exhibitions.
She is now base in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
