Lackawanna District Merit Badge Counselor Registration Process (July 2025 revision)
Scouts can learn about sports, crafts, science, trades, business, and future careers as they earn merit badges. There are more than 135 merit badges, and any Scout, or any qualified Venturer or Sea Scout may earn any of these at any time. Merit badge pamphlets are now available as free PDFs for all merit badges.
The Scouts BSA Test Lab is an exciting way to help in the development of fun and interesting new topics unique to the Scouts BSA program. If you complete a Test Lab badge and it becomes an official merit badge, you will be credited with having earned that badge!
