Youth advancement and adult recognition in the district is overseen by the Advancement and Recognition Committee.
Scouts working on the Eagle Scout rank often have a lot of questions about the process, and It can be hard to find those answers. We have put together page about the Life to Eagle process explains how to work with the district.
We have Merit Badge Counselors for almost all current merit badges, and we are always seeking new qualified counselors to help the scouts. Please see the Merit Badges page for more information.
Scouting has a Religious Emblems program to encourage youth involvement in their houses of worship, as well as to recognize adult leaders for their services to youth there. Brian Jacobs is available to help units or individuals who are interested in these programs. Also see Scouting America's Religious Emblems page for more information.
There are many options available for adult recognition, please see our Adult Recognition page for more information.
We encourage every unit to be involved with the Advancement and Recognition Committee, please see the Committee page to find out how to become involved or to be informed about the committee meetings and actions.
