Tyana

The overall theme was "A Place Called Home". I wanted to link the theme to my surrounding areas as I feel a strong sense of attachment/home to them. I went around taking photos of my local areas and later developed some into drawings and other into print. I was overall happy with my outcomes as I felt I managed to show what means home to me.

It wasn't a linear path to making prints as my final outcome. I thought I had wanted to collage as I quite liked Sohei Nishino's dioramas. I decided against doing so after trying screenprinting. I researched about artist who's art primarily focused on printing and got my inspiration from there.

For my outcome I wanted to portray two different ways of printing and how different papers would react to the ink, I believe I was successful in doing so as I managed to compile an amount of prints that demonstrate this.
