KY INBRE offers a variety of outreach and research programs starting on the high school level and up. We begin our recruitment efforts by interacting with high school students through a variety of outreach programs and Summer Undergraduate Research Program. Students that are looking for a more long-term research experience are then placed in KY INBRE-funded or NIH R15/R16-funded PI laboratories. Further career development is provided by interactions during our Annual Conference, with Lead Faculty, and with our EAC.
For up to 20 undergraduate students to research at UK or UofL

Three-day, in-person, hands-on short course for Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors and graduate students from Kentucky colleges and universities.
