Register now for 2025 annual KY INBRE NIH R15/R16 Virtual Grant Writing Workshop, Sat, Nov 8 (register by Mon, Nov 3)
Please join KY INBRE’ s Genomics Training and Education Center (GTEC) for a Single-Cell Seminar Series in early November! 10X Genomics will talk to us about their latest single-cell and spatial transcriptomic assays. This seminar will be followed by Miltenyi who will introduce us to their latest advances in tissue dissociation as well as nuclei and mitochondria isolation. To wrap it up, Bioturing will introduce you to their analysis suite to visualize and interact with your single-cell, spatial transcriptomics and bulk RNASeq data.
Monday, November 3, 10:30 to 11:30 am, UofL CTR 124:
10X Genomics - Discover the Power of Single Cell and Spatial Multiomics. Learn how Chromium Single Cell, Visium Spatial, and Xenium in Situ platforms can help accelerate your research. Please register here (lunch will be provided for registered participants). Individual Project consultation is available following the seminar. Download flyer (PDF) for more info and to share.
Tuesday, November 4, 12 to 1 pm, UofL CTR 101
Miltenyi - From Tissue to Single Cells, Nuclei, and Mitochondria: Tools and Techniques for Cellular Resolution. Join Chananat, your local technical sales consultant, as we will explore the tissue dissociation methods using the gentleMACSOcto with Heaters and how to best optimize your sample preparation. We’ll also cover how your cells can be automatically isolated with Miltenyi separation technology. Please register here (lunch will be provided for registered participants). Individual Project consultation is available following the seminar. Download flyer (PDF) for more info and to share.
Wednesday, November 12, 9 to 11:30 am, UofL CTR 101
Bioturing – Frontiers in Multi-Omics Data Analysis: Explore next-generation approaches in single-cell, spatial and bulk RNA-Seq analysis. BioTuring is at the forefront of multi-omics innovation, integrating advanced algorithms, comprehensive databases, and GPU acceleration to empower single-cell, spatial omics, and bulk RNA-seq research. Join us for an exploration of next-generation approaches in single-cell, spatial, and bulk RNA-seq analysis. Please register here (Refreshments will be provided and this helps us plan). Individual Project consultation is available following the seminar. Download flyer (PDF) for more info and to share.
Please see the flyers linked above for more information or contact information for your local rep. And of course, always feel free to reach out to Dr. Sabine Waigel, GTEC Director, with any questions, email.
