Co-developed three checklists to assist faculty in the development of digitally accessible materials.

These accessibility guides were developed in conjunction with conference presentations to help support and facilitate faculty understanding of difficult accessibility concepts.

The guides and resources were developed to streamline Rise 360 course development and processes to ensure consistency and accessibility. A template course was also created with theme elements pre-defined to be copied for use to increase efficiency when developing.

These Blackboard Learn guides were developed to support faculty and provide supplemental documentation, especially when the official Blackboard Learn documentation was insufficient or specific to our integrations.

Tainted Love: Blackboard vs. Canvas (Google Site)

Far more robust than internal Center for Learning and Teaching documents, the Tainted Love: Blackboard vs. Canvas Google Site aims to help faculty build their Canvas course shells.

Google for Education guides were generated to support accessibility-focused conference presentations.

Grackle is an accessibility add-on for Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets.  Two Google Slide decks were created to facilitate the adoption of the add-on.

Kaltura is a cloud-based video management system for storing, publishing and streaming videos, video collections and other media. The system integrates with Canvas, allowing faculty to create, upload and share multimedia content with ease. Specific gap topics were identified, and technical guides were created to meet the need.

Microsoft Office 365 guides were generated to support accessibility-focused conference presentations.

The Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT) offers support to faculty via technical guides such as these created for our Online Faculty Professional Development project.

Panopto replaced Kaltura as its cloud-based video management system in 2025 for storing, publishing and streaming videos, video collections and other media. The system integrates with Canvas, allowing faculty to create, upload and share multimedia content with ease. Multiple workshops were created to assist faculty in the transition, and some technical guides were also developed to accompany them for both faculty and students.

The Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT) has a home-grown Content Management System (CMS) called Personal Learning Environment (PLE).  With the institutional transition to Canvas, PLE faculty were migrated to Canvas instances. These guides and videos were developed to assist them.

TidyUP is a tool specializing in identifying and removing unused or outdated course content. Using this tool to delete extraneous content also positively impacted faculty's YuJa Panorama accessibility score, as every item in a Canvas course is scanned. The essentials document was created to provide faculty a one-stop shop for guidance on the tool.

VoiceThread is a tool that allows faculty and students to share and discuss content using text, images, audio, and video. It combines a media player with interactive tools to facilitate online discussions and media-based feedback. These Google slides guide users through generating and utilizing VoiceThread.

Wrike is project management software chosen to help us manage the Faculty Summer Conference I was chairing. This guide was created to facilitate the implementation of Wrike by both committee leads and committee members in different capacities. Tasks were pre-populated for committees, and small group instructor-led training was provided for the major stakeholders prior to deployment.

Created and maintained updates to Zoom documentation including the Zoom: Web Conferencing Basics & Beyond the Basics (Google Slides) documentation (last update September 2021). Curated a Zoom playlist on CLT's YouTube channel to assist faculty in adopting it as an online platform to facilitate class meetings; the playlist also includes videos on how to use the Course Collaboration Tool (CCT) built by our Information Technology Department within Blackboard Learn to schedule their Zoom meetings. Additional technical guides created on specific topics (e.g., Scheduling Recurring Zoom Meetings and Creating and Using Polls).
