Most are more cognizant of the need for accessible course documents in an online environment, but there is a myth about accessible digital content. Many incorrectly assume that an accessible slide deck is a boring slide deck; black and white with no images. This is not the case at all! An accessible slide deck may be full of visual interest as long as it is created with accessibility in mind. This presentation will review the importance of being proactive about accessibility, common accessibility standards that must be considered, selecting the correct font for a presentation, how to generate an accessible color palette, and basic accessibility tools.
