Pat Martin is a graduate of Fla. A&M University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. With over 30 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, she also served for twenty-one years as a licensed ordained minister and Pastor. Her works have been featured on various major television networks including ABC, NBC, MTV, CBS, VH1 and the CW.
She has been the recipient of multiple community service awards for her work with youth in the community.
She is the Founder and Executive Director of the award-winning Performing arts nonprofit called KIDDS Dance Project.
She has penned multiple children’s musical theater productions over the past 24 years including an appearance Off-Broadway.
Her knack for writing and researching aided in her becoming a successful nonprofit Grant writer. With this knowledge, she has provided consulting services to other nonprofits.
She has also had an article published in the nationally known Guide Post Magazine.
Though she has had many major accomplishments, none of them could help her circumvent the major health battle she faced. Having survived the battle she shares her inspiring story through her book entitled “You Can Get There From Here” subtitled “Making it through the Mazes of Life”.
