Coach Dean Katherine Maruri is a passionate, enlightened, inspirational empowerment educator and speaker. With a B.A. in psychology from Kean University in Union New Jersey and a master’s in Communication & Leadership from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Her areas of specialized expertise include business development, communications, leadership, and self-empowerment. She is the Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Host of Living The Life You Love TV Show. Additionally, she is Dean of KweliWorks 1) “Developing Your Self-Empowerment Skills Set”, “Triumph of the Human Spirit Against All Odds” and “Fit, Fashionable & Sexy” Clusters.
She has positively impacted the lives of thousands and college students in goal setting, college exploration, application, enrollment, and career planning for 3 years.
Coached hundreds of entrepreneurs throughout the country in successful startup business ventures for 6 years.
Provided empowerment training for young adults in mastering the skills, values, and attitudes necessary to compete in a highly competitive industry, as well as, leading a balanced and fulfilling life for 10 years.
Participated in setting up a business to provide a platform for subject area experts to tell their stories.
Dean Katherine believes ordinary people can be or do extraordinary things with focused passion. Her aim is to assist learners in seeking self-knowledge and understanding their and other’s needs, desires and frustrations that block them from achieving higher consciousness. The purpose of her empowerment programs has focused on providing learners with the tools and imagination to change their paradigms in order to strengthen, increase and transform their relationships, effectiveness, and efficiency. She has helped people from all walks of life successfully navigate the opportunities, threats and risks both in corporate America and self-owned businesses. Race, sex and bullying can also be a barrier to ones success and her programs equip women and minorities to compete in and combat hostile environments.
