HOW DOES THE MLS VS KWLS SYNDICATION WORK?
HOW DOES THE MLS VS KWLS SYNDICATION WORK?
For KWCD Associates that are primary members of the Eastern New York Regional MLS OR the Southern Adirondack MLS
Thanks to the KWConnector & ListHub, all you need to focus on is entering your listing on the MLS. Once added, your listing will populate onto Zillow with 30 minutes or less!
Within 12-24 hours, your listing will funnel into the KWLS. Once in there you will need to "Optimize Your Listing" (see video above for clarification and steps).
Once fully optimized your listing will populate to our network of websites, including your Keller Williams tools. Please provide up to 12 hours for those websites to update.
If this is your first listing with us at KWCD, please contact Jonny, at JPug@Kw.com. We recommend adding your listings to the MLS before 6pm EST for listing to populate overnight.

- This is my first listing, is there anything I do extra?
- Yes, contact Jpug@kw.com & Klrw762@kw.com once you make your first KW listing live on the MLS. There could be an additional 12 hours delay (especially on the weekends)
- How long should I expect my listing to syndicate to the KWLS from the MLS?
- You can expect our listing to enter the KWLS within 12 hours. Please contact KW Support if your listing does not enter the KWLS after that time. Contact Jpug@Kw.com if your listing has not entered the KWLS after 24 hours.
- How long should I expect my listing to syndicate to the 80+ Websites from the KWLS?
- After your listing is "Optimized" in the KWLS, you can expect the other websites (those labeled on the right column of the diagram above) to receive your listing's details within 12 hours or less. Use the above question's order of support for assistance. Zillow, Trulia and Realtor.com will update your listing with 30 minutes of it going live on the MLS and than update
- Will the KWLS update from the MLS?
- Yes, but will not update the photos or remarks/description, once the listing is "optimized" in the KWLS. If you intend to copy what you updated in the MLS, add those changes in the KWLS.
- Will the KWLS update the MLS?
- No, the KWLS only syndicates to the buyer-centric websites and does not update the MLS's listing details.
- When does the KWLS copy the MLS and syndicate out to the property websites?
- The KWLS copies the MLS twice a day and funnels in your listings into the KWLS (6-9pm & 2-4am). It is highly recommended to make your listings live around those times so that you enjoy the benefits of your listing populating into the KWLS as quickly as possible.
- What do I do if my listing does not update on a specific property website?
- If you listing details have not updated on that property website (and it's been more than 24 hours) contact Jpug@kw.com for next step instructions.

Once you have listed your property on the MLS, you must add that listing manually into the KWLS.
