Library
The KTAA library is located in Sadu House. Access to the locked library is during meetings. The caretakers are Donna Shaya and Sawsan Khalaf.
The KTAA Library has over 100+ books and magazines of Textile arts subjects including quilting, fiber arts and weaving.
It is a real treasure that KTAA members are invited to use as a part of their membership.
The library has book materials organized numerically. The photocopied title covers of each book has been organized in binders as a reference. Each page is numbered.
These reference binders will be available for members to browse through during meetings. These will help you to choose books that you might be interested in borrowing.
Each book is numbered and has a pocket with title card attached to the inside cover.
When you select a book to borrow, sign and date the library card and place it in the ‘borrowing box’ ( located in the book shelf) along with a 10 KD holding fee.
Books may be borrowed for 2 weeks at a time.
Should you lose the book, you will forfeit the 10 KD deposit and be required to replace the book at your own cost.
