Exhibition Guidelines
All participants must be current members of KTAA.
If you’re uncertain about which category to register your entry under, the Exhibition Committee is available to assist you as early as possible. Should your entry be registered under an incorrect category, the Exhibition Committee reserves the right to reassign it to the appropriate category based on the category descriptions on the day of submission.
The Exhibition Committee requests that you provide details about your inspiration, pattern sources, workshop locations, and the names of instructors on the entry form.
If an entry is a collaborative effort by multiple makers, please ensure all their names are included on the entry form.
Works submitted to the exhibition must be your original work. All makers’ names must be listed on the entry form and their roles specified.
Each member is allowed to display up to two items in each category (subject to revision based on number of participants). The first one will be displayed free of charge, while the second item will incur a fee of 5 KD.
Works entered this exhibition should have been completed within the last two years (April 2023 – April 2025).
Works displayed and judged in previous years in KTAA Exhibitions will not be eligible for this exhibition.
The submitted work must be in a finished state and ready for hanging or display.
Quilt participants must provide a rod (bamboo or wood) that extends the full length of the quilt. The rod should extend 2 inches beyond each end of the quilt sleeve, with a binder clip securely attached to each end of the rod.
Fiber arts participants must submit their final work with an appropriate display method included (frame, easel, stand, bust, hat stand, doll stand…etc.)
The exhibition committee will determine the method of hanging and position of an entry.
The exhibition committee reserves the right not to accept an item if it does not have defined sleeve(s), missing appropriate hanging rods, or if it is an incomplete work.
Each entry must have a label secured at the back of the work with a registration number. Unlabeled
entry may face disqualification.
If any false information is provided on the entry forms and its untruthful nature is discovered, the exhibition committee reserves the right to ask the maker to return any awards received.
If an entry is for sale, please indicate a price on the entry form and provide the maker’s telephone number. All transactions will be between the maker and potential customer. KTAA will not act as a sales agent for the maker. If your work uses a commercial pattern, ensure you have permission from the pattern author.
Each participant is encouraged to volunteer for work shifts at the exhibition hall during exhibition hours.
Agreement: By submitting an entry form to KTAA, participants agree to honor the guidelines of the exhibition and accept judges’ decisions as final.
Participants understand that KTAA will take every precaution to safeguard entries during the exhibition but will not be held liable for damage or loss. Participants agree to allow all kinds of photography of their entries and permit images to be used for publications about the exhibition.
Thank you for participating in the 2025 KTAA Exhibition

Fiber arts submissions may include a variety of textile techniques, both traditional and modern. We invite artists to push the boundaries of traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation, offering fresh and imaginative interpretations of fiber art. Below you will find a list of possible techniques. This is not an exhaustive list, so feel free to explore other creative methods in your work!
