ONLINE COMPETITION
Namaskarams,
Rama Bhagavatar Charitable Trust and Kalpathy Thyagabrahma Aaradhana Committee would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all participants of the Carnatic music online competition for the 2024 Kalpathy Thyagaraja Aradhana.
The esteemed Vidwans, who served as judges for the entries, meticulously evaluated the Ragam, Kirtanam, Niraval, Kalpana Swaram presentations, and selected the top five winners.
While each entry epitomized dedication to musical finesse and served as an inspiration, the chosen winners showcased remarkable skill and artistry, distinguishing themselves as victors in this online competition.
The winners have been cordially invited to present a brief concert at the Kalpathy Thyagaraja Aradhana on Sunday, the 28th of January.
The top five entries are:
Mandolin U JayaVigneshwar - Mandolin
Prajna Adiga - Vocal
Swathi Renganath Akash - Vocal
Aditi Sudarshan - Flute
Dhanush Anantharaman - Vocal
The entry of Saarang Anand - Veena was commendable; however, it narrowly missed securing a winning position.
Our committee will select two or three performers from the winners to present a full-fledged Kutchery at the 2025 edition of the Aradhana, based on their performance at the 2024 Kalpathy event.
For those who did not make it to the top five, please note that the committee highly values your entry and dedication to music. Through this communication, the committee kindly requests your participation in upcoming editions of the KTAC competitions. You will all receive a certificate of participation. Please provide your complete mailing address so that we can send it to you.
Wishing you all progress and the blessings of Guru Kripa and Vakdevi,
