We are so excited to be using FFT phonics to support reading in school!
Teachers assess the curriculum throughout the year in a variety of ways and track this data for all subjects using DCPro.
In some core subjects we use standardised assessment tasks termly, here are our main standardised assessment tools. These assessments are done sensitively and allow us to accurately track progress and attainment of your child throughout the year, to ensure good outcomes for their time in Key Stage 1. During the first term in Year 1 we will continue to tract the Foundation Stage goals for children that require this. We may continue to use Learning Book for this purpose.
