City of Zagreb
Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, is a vibrant Central European city where historical heritage meets contemporary cultural life. Its origins date back to the medieval settlements of Gradec and Kaptol, whose legacy is still visible in the charming Upper Town with its narrow streets, historic buildings, and landmarks such as St. Mark’s Church.
Today, Zagreb is the political, economic, and cultural centre of the country, known for its lively café culture, museums, galleries, and numerous public events. The city offers a dynamic yet relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for international academic gatherings.

Founded in 1669, the University of Zagreb is the oldest and largest university in Croatia and one of the leading higher education institutions in Southeast Europe. The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, as the host institution, is a major hub for research and education in information and communication sciences, philosophy, sociology, and related fields, providing an ideal intellectual environment for the conference.
