The KRIK Conference is happy to announce that its venue will offer space to a co-located event: the KIKZ.02 Doctoral Workshop!
The KIKZ.02 Doctoral Workshop is conceived as a focused, one-day programme for doctoral students in information and communication sciences. It is designed as an interactive and supportive space for engaging with key aspects of academic research and professional development. Rather than a traditional presentation-based format, it emphasises methodological reflection, academic writing, scholarly communication, and critical engagement with contemporary research challenges, including the role of artificial intelligence in doctoral research.
Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a hands-on workshop on academic writing and publishing and the review process, exchange experiences with peers and senior scholars, and reflect on the broader academic and societal context and relevance of their work.
Participation in the doctoral track, as in the KRIK conference, is free of charge; however, registration is mandatory due to limited capacity.
Doctoral students may be awarded ECTS credits for their participation, depending on the type and duration of their involvement in the doctoral track and the conference programme.
