[Goal]
Establishment and dissemination of production technology of major fodder crops to increase animal feed supply in Pakistan
Project duration:
2021~2023
Expected Outputs:
1. 20% yield increase of targeted fodder crops compared to conventional production methods by the established production practices.
2. 1-2 introduced ryegrass will be introduced and identified its adoptability
3. Good agricultural practices will be established for 6 fodder crops farmers will adopt good fodder varieties

"Working In collaboration with KOPIA fodder project, it's first time we have established production technology of major fodder crops in Pakistan and disseminated through demo plots, literature and trainings.
Due to this advancement in fodder production sector farmers have now opportunity of a new highly economical fodder crop production.
Due to KOPIA project farmers will be able to improve their socio economic conditions, on the other side it will also boost milk and meat production in Pakistan."
