Hirouki Koike, Ph.D.

Biography

Hiroyuki Koike graduated from the School of Engineering, Tohoku University, in 2007, and completed the Master’s Program at the Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University, in 2009. He received his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Medicine, Yokohama City University, in 2014.

After working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University and as a Research Fellow at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, he was appointed Assistant Professor at Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2018. He then served as Assistant Professor and Senior Assistant Professor at Nippon Medical School, and as Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, Institute of Science Tokyo. In 2026, he joined the Research Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Tokyo University of Science, as Professor.
