2017 October Bethlehem Bingo
A VERY full house and a very good time at Bethlehem Woods with the residents for Halloween bingo, snacks and refreshments. Thank you host Jeff Cogelja for planning and organizing this fun annual event. Thank you MC Nancy Kalkowski for your perfect pronunciation, and creative sentences and singing. Thank you volunteers Craig Jacklin, Joe Discipio, Mike Kalkowski, Anthony Chimento, Steve Better, Dennis Fitzpatrick, and Mike Hattie for helping as the eyes and ears of the residents. Thank you everyone for being there and having fun with our senior neighbors.
2016 October Bethlehem Bingo
With the Cubbies on TV and scoring their first win in the World Series, 20 Bethlehem Woods residents joined us for an evening of games, refreshments and sweets. As lively as ever, we all had a great time. Thank you Jeff Cogelja for organizing. Thank you Father Chris, Jerry and Kathy Sullivan, Craig Jacklin, Mike Kalkowski, Joe Discipio for your help.
2014 October Game Night at Bethlehem WoodsThe residents and Knights all had a good time, and the hecklers in the crowd kept us laughing.
Game night at Bethlehem Woods Retirement Community began in October 2011. After a couple years as a Knights and family social event, the Knights decided to take it on the road. Knights and family join the residents at Bethlehem Woods for an evening of bingo, word puzzles, prizes, refreshments, laughter and conversation. Some of the residents have attended every year. Some of the residents are pretty competitive. And everyone - Knights, family and residents - enjoys the company and fun. Bethlehem Bingo is always a full house and a good time.
