Nadine began her study of the art in 2006 at Aikido Kyoto.  She continued her studies at Northern Virginia Aikikai on her return to the USA.  A visitor to Blacksburg and to Kodokan Aikido at Virginia Tech at various times, Nadine joined the dojo after settling in the area; she was promoted to the rank of Ni dan (black belt, second degree) in 2020.
