Watatsumi
'King of the Dragons'
The great Watatsumi is the father of all dragons; every lineage leads back to the legendary king of the seas. All dragons are born with an inclination for the element of water, but those who are seeking to rise above the others may seek out Watatsumi for his higher blessings.

Ryujin
'God of Mischief'
The god of chaos and mischief, Ryujin is not a favored god. He has been known to shift into human form at times, and deceive those he comes across. He seeks to create disaster, now matter how small, or how large.

Kohana
'Burning Flower'
The youngest of the gods, but certainly not the weakest. Kohana is the bright star that lights the way for those with their own flame burning within their heart, fueling passion and desire as much as she encourages the spirit of battle. Dragons with a fiery heart are sure to seek her blessing, giving up the fluidity of water for the heat of raw flames.
However, fire is as beautiful as it is destructive, and one must be careful to maintain the sacred balance between the two.

Rai
'Storm-Bringer'
A playful trickster who means no harm, though tends to have a short temper. He can be seen perhaps at the highest mountain tops, or surfing the clouds. Though watch for any strange happenings... it's said you must pray to Rai to avoid trickery from others.

Gō
'Strength'
A Protector deity, known for embodying strength, endurance, and resilience. Dragons seek out Gō's blessing to get through difficult times or for strength. Eternally bonded to Sana.

Sana
'Earth's Grace'
Known as the deity of life, the giver of life and of sustenance. She's known as a maternal, or guardian figure, and Kodai will often pay tribute to her in hopes of a fertility blessing, or for a family of any kind. Eternally bonded to Gō.

Kuraokami
'God of Ice and Winter'
Born from the blood of the fiery dragon, Kuraokami is the ice that overcame fire in the shadow of death. While he is related to the gods of water, his presence is darker, rumored to have a heart of pure ice. Secretive and reserved, he is the opposite to Kohana’s burning flame, the two depicted in old legends to have engaged in quarrels that affected weather patterns all across the world.

Arashiō
'God of Thunder'
Son of Watatsumi. Said to be the raging storms that fall upon the seas, many legends of the past describe him as a temperamental and rather intimidating god.

Amaterasu
'Goddess of Light'
Amaterasu, meaning "Great Divinity Illuminating Heaven," is the Japanese sun goddess and a central figure in the Shinto religion, believed to be the mythical ancestress of the Imperial House of Japan. She is often considered the most sacred of all the gods.

Kagehime
'Princess of Shadows'
The “veil” between life and death? Worshipped as “Death”, also the god associated with the overall mystery of the worlds beyond Earth (the stars in the sky, what is in the universe, etc).
