The border must be darker than the spot color.
Rosettes Guide
Rosettes can vary in size, and either make a complete circle, or incomplete circles. They may also have very small spots sparingly at the sides.
In dominant form, Rosettes can be lighter than the base.
Rosettes cannot have lighter inner spots, lighter borders, or have no color within the borders.Â
They also cannot be too blended, like the above image.
Rosettes can also be nuanced! This is when the marking is slightly erased to show the color that's beneath. It should be subtle, and should not change how the marking appears, or make it look like another marking entirely!
When using a nuance, you should still be able to see the marking edges, like the above example. If too much is erased, your design may be sent back to corrections!
Nuance does not allow for the marking to completely fade away, or have the markings edge only just visible. Nuance should be subtle!
