Melanism is a type of random mutation that is present in Kodai, where the skin loses all pigmentation. The Kodai turns all black, and has a light gradient running through certain areas of the pelt.
Melanism will have soft light grey/slight tan gradients along the belly, inner legs and paws.
Kodai must have golden eyes!
Melanism will show no markings, and must be black, or off-black. If the Kodai is 'jet black' or we cannot see the lineart, the design will be denied. The same with if the design is too light, we may send it back!
