Maned can use colors that the base coat allows, and be present as much or as little as you wish.

Maned cannot override color rules, meaning Canary cannot use Aqua colors.
Maned cannot completely conceal markings, or be used to hide most of a marking. On the same level, markings like Dun or Blanket, cannot be used to mimic Maned, they must display separate traits and areas!
