Classroom APM PFQ and APM PMQ

The APM PFQ (Project Fundamentals Qualification) is the entry-level APM qualification. It is a great starting point for entering the project management profession.

The APM PMQ (Project Management Qualification) is the more advanced APM qualification designed for practising project managers wanting to develop their project manager career.

Classroom APM courses have temporarily been replaced with virtual classroom courses. They are available at weekdays and at weekends.

Online APM PFQ and APM PMQ

An APM PFQ online course helps early-career project managers or project team members prepare for their PFQ online exam which is included with this online course.

An APM PMQ course helps you learn how to fit a project into your organisation’s strategic and commercial environment.

Online APM training is available on all platforms - desktop, tablet and mobile.

Virtual APM PFQ and APM PMQ

APM courses teach students the best practices in project management and are based upon the APM Body of Knowledge.

This options requires an internet connection, headphones, microphone and computer.

APM PFQ

The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification is the starting point for entering the project management profession in the UK. You will learn the basics of project management based upon modern best practices and be well-placed to make a positive contribution on your projects.

Who should take it?

An APM Project Fundamentals Qualification course is suitable for any of the following:

  • Current/aspiring project managers or project team members

  • Non-project professionals wanting to understand basic project management concepts

  • Anyone intending to progress towards the higher APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ).

What's the APM PFQ exam features?

  • 60 minutes;

  • 60 multiple-choice questions;

  • 60% pass mark;

  • Closed-book exam.

APM PMQ

The APM Project Management Qualification (formerly known as the APMP) is for project managers wanting to build on their existing project management knowledge and advance in their project manager career.

Who should take it?

An APM PMQ course is suitable for anyone wishing to achieve a broad level of project management knowledge sufficient to participate in projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects.

What's the APM PMQ exam features?

  • 2.5-hour exam;

  • Essay-style 10 from 16 questions;

  • 55% pass mark;

  • Closed-book exam.
