A hearing screening must be completed as part of a diagnostic for children age 3 and older. (Children under age 3 undergo a full audiologicla evaluation before they are scheduled for a sp/lang. evaluation). A hearing screening form is included in your Diagnostic Resource Binder. Some children age 3 and above are not able to participate in a hearing screening, in which case they are referred for a full audiological evaluation.
