Science, Nature, Earth

This lesson plan focuses on the big idea Science, Nature, and Earth. Students will create a sculpture to create awareness about the impact pollution on a specific ecosystem/organism using research to inform their design. In the slide show presentation are contemporary artists to inspire students. I made this lesson plan for high school, but it can be altered for other grade levels.

Alter Ego Portrait

This lesson plan focuses on the big ideas of Self and Identity. Students will create a painting of an alter ego. Before painting, students will do preliminary activities to create their alter ego, such as a mind map, mood board, and sketching. This lesson plan was made for high school, but can be altered for other grades.

On the top right is the lesson plan, on the bottom left is the rubric, and on the bottom right is an example a peer did following the lesson plan.
