Over the past two years, I’ve managed numerous Instagram accounts for Chandler High School. Two of these accounts were mentioned earlier: the CHS Wolf Howl Newspaper account and the CHS Swim and Dive account. During my junior year, I also took on the responsibility of managing the CHS Girls Soccer Team Instagram account. Initially, I was just starting out with creating promotional graphics when I began managing the soccer account. Looking back, I can see several areas where I could have improved the graphics I created. However, when I compare them to the graphics I created for the swim team account, I am incredibly proud of the progress I’ve made.
This was my first graphic design project as a sophomore year reporter. It was my first time using Adobe Express, and I’m proud of the color scheme I chose and the engaging content I included, even though I was just starting out.
During my junior year, I fully ran our newspaper account and this graphic in particular I was super proud of because I feel like it was a very engaging way to promote our October Issue.
This was my most recent post I made promoting our Arts Issue and I was proud of the content that I fit in, while keeping the theme of our newspaper as a whole.
This graphic was made when I first began running the soccer account and while it is not the best, I like looking back at the previous posts that I have made as a way to improve.
This post pushed my abilities to the limit as it was my first time making posters for seniors with many different elements going on at once. I made this in January and it was a very enjoyable learning experience that I will most definitely carry with me in the future.
This post was made at the same time as the other one, except I wanted to make a clear difference between the captains and the players. I loved how these turned out and I was excited to incorporate more pictures from their time on the team in addition to the other information.
This was the first graphic I made at the start of swim season and it was challenging because I was playing around with different platforms of where to make my graphics but I was extremely happy of how the schedule turned out!
I vividly remember making this graphic purely because of how proud I was of it. We have a photographer who comes to all of our meets and to find these photos, I had to sort through hundreds of photos to find the ones that would fit. I loved how this turned out and how there was barely any empty space, all while keeping a clean design. For this graphic I also had to ensure all information was correct and the correct link was put into our bio so that fans could buy tickets virtually.
This was another post I was proud of because it challenged my skills immensly. I had to reach out to all 14 seniors numerous times to gather the information. It was a challenge because I had to do all of this in bed due to the fact I had just undergone surgery. Despite it all, I love how these spotlights turned out and the timeliness I was able to post them.
