Throughout my time on The Wolf Howl, we’ve consistently collaborated on editing each other’s stories. As I took on the role of editor and leader in the class, I made it a priority to add more edits to each story. The screenshots above showcase just a few of the editing documents that my group and I completed, ranging from November 2023 to November 2025.
The summer before my senior year, I spent time designing team-building activities for the staff as we prepared for the new school year. One of these activities was a bingo game. The team had to get to know each other by walking around the classroom and asking each other questions that were related to the bingo.

I’ve helped to created four calendars: two for my junior year semesters and two for my senior year semesters. The semester two calendar for the 2025-2026 year is still being updated since we just started that semester. Through this process, I’ve learned the significance of planning ahead and understanding our responsibilities to ensure timely completion of assignments. The bottom of the documents became a sort of “brain dump” of ideas we wanted to implement for the upcoming year, which helped us recall our ideas as needed.
As mentioned earlier, during the summer before my senior year, I dedicated a significant amount of time to brainstorming ideas for the upcoming year. One of my projects involved developing a new layout plan for our newspaper. I carefully crafted detailed descriptions for each page and outlined potential story ideas that could be featured in our upcoming issues.
