Fossil fuels are created from the remains of plants and animals that lived long ago. They are turned into fuels such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas, hence its name. Fossil fuels are very difficult to get because fossils take long periods of time to form. The more of these we sure as the dependency increases. Fossil fuels have their downsides, even though they are so common. They pollute the air, and are a cause of air pollution.
