Pitch Contest Info:

Submit a short pitch (100 words or less) of a zombie story that you'd like help reviving

Submit your pitch to the form on Friday, June 21, 2024 by 11:59 EST
One entry per person
Picture books only (just for the pitch, anyone can participate in the events to learn and grow as a writer and the pledge contest)
At least 3 winners will be selected by our group and we'll all give each winners a group critique to help revive your dead story
Justin Colón is also adding his own pitch prize this year!

The 6 Ladies and a MANuscript Critique Group plus special guest DK will select 3-6 winners based on pitches to each receive a critique from the whole group! Go to the Forms page to share your pitch.

Justin Colón is a children's author whose forthcoming picture books include The Quacken (illustrated by Pablo Pino), Impossible Possums & Impossible Possum for Mayor (illustrated by James Rey Sanchez), The Zombees (illustrated by Kaly Quarles), and Vampurr (illustrated by Lenny Wen). In his other life, Justin is a professional, formally trained voice and on-camera actor and SAG-AFTRA member who has co-starred on hit shows such as Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Gotham, and Sneaky Pete.
