In this activity the students will be assembling a make shift landslide with houses and different ways of landslides. The materials would be a tin, different types of substrate (rocks, soil, sand, and much more), paper houses and water. From there they can see the effects of landslides in communities and what different substrates have different danger levels to it but essentially all of them can be dangerous.
In this activity the students will be making their own study sheet with the different types of mass wasting. They would put it into six different boxes which are divided into sections for what makes them different from it being slow changing to fast changes. They would draw the different changes and color them accordingly. Also there would be a little bonus if they also draw what other forces change the earth.
