This is a bingo card in which the class would come up with their own ways to help the climate. While the class is brainstorming I would be writing them down into the board and I would have a student helper writing them down in the little slips of paper. The students then would have time to write down what they would like to contribute to the bingo. If there are students who finish faster than the rest then they can decorate it like the example. Afterwards I would pick the little paper from earlier and then the class would play bingo.
This video demonstrates an activity that I could do in class. The materials needed would be: 2 tuber wares, clay, blue colored water, pushpins (or other material that isn't sharp), ice and a marker. So the class would put the clay in one side and fill the other side with a little bit of water. Afterwards they would but a few ice cubes on land and a few in the "sea" (water) and mark the sea level. The pushpins would symbolize people, parks, schools, or even houses that are located on the clay. After a while they would notice the ice melting and would mark if the sea level rose at all and how it affected the life on land.
Meanwhile the class is waiting for the ice to melt and make their calculation they could do a word search about climate change.
