How to Join K-HFES

• Korean and Korean-American HFES professionals, college and university professors, and graduate students teaching or studying HFES and other HFES-related subjects are welcome!

• Please contact K-HFES chair (jay.kim@oregonstate.edu) with 1) your name, 2) position, 3) affiliation, and 4) research area of expertise.

Steering Committee Members

Please join the 1-year steering committee!

Suggested committee activities for the 1-year term

  -  Regular business meeting every 3 months

  -  Review conference proceeding papers for the K-HFES Best Student Paper Awards

  -  Serve on a specific role in the committee

Mentors / Mentees

Please join the 1-year term mentoring program!

Suggested mentoring activities for the 1-year term mentoring program

  -  1 or 2 virtual meetings per semester

  -  Providing feedback on mentee(s)’ CV, research statement, or grant and scholarship applications

  -  Mentor-mentee coffee meetup at the HFES annual meeting
