Welcome to the Korean-American Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (K-HFES) Affinity Group!
The K-HFES is a vibrant community of North American professionals and students of Korean heritage engaged in the field of human factors and ergonomics (HFE). Since our establishment in 2019, we have steadily grown to include approximately 100 members in 2024.
Our organization aims to share and advance educational and scientific knowledge in HFE through a variety of meetings and webinars, both online and in-person, that are open to all members. We believe these activities will stimulate innovative ideas and foster collaboration among our members, enabling us to make meaningful contributions to the diverse areas of HFES.
Additionally, K-HFES is dedicated to supporting the next generation of professionals and students. Each year, we implement a mentor-mentee program that pairs students and early-career professionals with experienced mentors in the field.
As part of HFES Affinity Groups, we are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the HFE community.
On behalf of all K-HFES members, I sincerely thank you for your interest in and support of our group. We invite you to join us or partner with us in our mission to create a more innovative, prosperous, and inclusive environment for the study of human factors and ergonomics.
Warm regards,
Eui Yang
