07.22.2021 New Repeater - Turned on Today! W4SVR/R Fusion repeater on 145.240 MHz

A brand new repeater was turned on today, by Chuck Smith W4SVR.

The repeater is: W4SVR/R

A Yaesu Fusion repeater on 145.240 MHz, -600 KHz offset for the uplink.

This is a FUSION ONLY (C4FM ONLY) repeater, and is open to all Amateur operators.

The antenna is stationed at ~340 Feet on a commercial tower, and located 4 miles east of Hanover Airpark, covering Hanover County, and much of the central Virginia and Richmond area.

Early reports are very good, including a check-in from O'Tooles in Powhatan with an FT3D HT. Very good indeed!

Put this one in your scan/memory list, it's going to be huge....
