Design your MoErgo layout by defining what you want it to do, not how ZMK works.
From Double Taps to Home-Row Mods, define your intent and let GLIDE handle the rest.
⚠️ GLIDE supports the new Layout Editor BETA features for Mod-Morph, Tap-Dance, and Sticky Keys.
Importing these features into Layout Editor requires the upcoming Layout Editor BETA.
The Intent-driven layout editor for MoErgo keyboards.
GLIDE works seamlessly with the fabulous MoErgo Layout Editor.
Export your layout as JSON, define your intent visually in GLIDE and import it back when you're done.
No technical jargon. No complex setups. Zero friction.
❯ Intent-Driven Layout Engine

GLIDE works alongside your MoErgo Layout Editor to give you total control over complex ZMK behaviors. Define your intent, apply powerful layout automations, and export straight back into your keyboard’s workflow.
We start by downloading your current layout as a JSON file from the MoErgo Layout Editor. Your keyboard settings remain completely safe until you choose to import your changes back.
Open the MoErgo Layout Editor.
Click Export to download your layout as a .json file.
Open GLIDE in your web browser and load your downloaded JSON file.
Move & Swap: Click and drag any key onto another to swap their key bindings instantly.
Apply Automations: Open the Flows Catalog (the cube icon in the upper right) to apply complete Home-Row Mod suites, symbol layers, or gaming layouts with a single click.
Edit Behaviors: Click any key to set up hold-taps, sticky keys, tap-dances, or mod-morphs without writing raw code.
Configure Combos: Use the Graphical Combo Editor to visually map key combinations with real-time conflict checking.
Trackpad Controls (Go60): Map Cirque trackpad gestures, scroll speeds, and click modes visually.
When your intent definition is complete, export your modified JSON file:
Click Export in the top navigation bar to download your updated .json file.
Return to the MoErgo Layout Editor.
Click Restore (Import JSON) and choose your updated file.
Click Build to compile your layout into official firmware.
❯ Offline & Standalone Use
GLIDE can run entirely offline without needing an active internet connection. You can clone the repository or build a single bundled .html file to run locally:

What’s on the Radar for Next Iterations of GLIDE
We are aiming to take visual, intent-driven customization to a whole new level:
Bug Fixes
Primary Action: When using a custom long name, the trash icon overlaps.
Touchpad: Does not support actions yet. We may need to redesign it anyway.
Limitations & Improvements
Integrity Validation and usage tracking a behavior can be deleted even when it is referenced by another behavior. (Layout Cleaner)
Search Assistant: Enrich the content and possible on text.
Select a key and say 'Paste' or 'One Shot Shift' combined with ...
I'm defining a key and I want it to 'copy' (ctrl-c on windows and lg(c) on mac or 'switch layer', what are the top 10 use cases)
Improve Mobile use: Currently limited support for mobile use
Click key to edit, right for options, .... text is annoying on the screen. Should we suppress via config?
Startup Speed: Improve startup time by showing the initial screen first.
Theme: Make Pro-Dark the default theme.
Touchpad: intent based improvements, what are the most used actions?
Print/PDF export: similar to Kiilix
Flows: PR36 Scheme Flows improve and expand to Go60

Undoable Refactor Engine — Give every automation a structured operation with Preview → Apply → Undo, plus a human-readable diff.
Duplicate/Conflict Detector — Detect overlapping combos, HRM conflicts, unreachable bindings, conflicting morphs, and other semantic collisions.
Config Backup / Snapshot Manager — Automatically snapshot before mutations and let users restore previous configurations.
