MoErgo Choc Cylindrical (MCC) keycaps are designed for Kailh Choc switches with a cylindrical shape, offering a unique typing experience compared to traditional concave or convex profiles. Ergonomically sculpted with varying row heights, they reduce strain and improve comfort over long typing sessions. Their curved design (like a half-pipe) runs up and down the columns, making them ideal for column-staggered boards like the MoErgo boards. This allows fingers to move smoothly between the keys without hitting the edges. Unlike MBK, MCC keycaps have walls only on the left and right sides, not top and bottom, for easier finger movement. MCC vs MBK
Max Burger Keycaps (MBK) refers to a low-profile keycap design for Kailh Choc switches. These keycaps have a flat surface with "walls" on all four sides (the edges are higher than the middle of the keycap). This design works better for row-staggered boards, where your fingers move diagonally, as the walls help guide your fingers to the center of the key. Unlike MCC, MBK keycaps maintain a uniform height and profile, making them popular for ultra-low-profile keyboards.
MBK Convex Keycaps are an exception, as their shape can work well for thumb keys. Their surface is curved outward (convex), providing a more comfortable press from different angles. They share the same low-profile design as standard MBK keycaps but with a bulging, outward curve for improved comfort and usability on frequently pressed keys like thumbs.
Understanding Keycap Materials: ABS, PBT, and POM
Max Burger Keycaps (MBK) named after the designer Max Burger. These low-profile keycaps are designed for Kailh Choc switches and offer an almost flat, uniform shape for a comfortable, simple typing experience.
LDSA stands for Low-profile DSA. The profile is inspired by the classic DSA (Distributed Structure Alphabetic) keycap profile, but adapted for thinner, low-profile keyboards. Like DSA, LDSA uses a uniform profile with spherical tops, while reducing overall keycap height for a slimmer typing experience.
Soft edges, ideal for horizontal thumb motions.
🧠 How it works
🧠 Left half = main side (brain)
→ sends all data to computer
📡 Right half = sends keys to left half
Glove80 → Bluetooth only
Go60 → Bluetooth or TRRS
🔌 Right USB port is only for:
✔ charging
✔ firmware updates
❌ not for typing (always goes indirect via left)
🔧 What is the MoErgo split (Y) cable?
🔌 One USB splits into two ends
⚙️ Has a built-in USB hub
✔ allows charging + data transfer at the same time
👍 When to use it
🔋 Charge both halves at the same time (not required)
⚙️ Update both halves more easily
👉 Optional convenience only (Go60 can do this via TRRS cable)
👉 Not needed for normal use
Required ❌No (optional)
Your keyboard works perfectly without it:
🧠 Left half → connects to computer
📡 Right half → connects to left half
Glove80 → Bluetooth
Go60 → Bluetooth or TRRS cable (charge and data via TRRS)
Glove80 cannot be fully wired
🚫 What it does NOT do
❌ Does NOT replace Bluetooth
❌ Does NOT make Glove80 wired
❌ Does NOT change how halves communicate
❌ Not required for Go60 as it has a TRRS cable
🔌 Alternative cables
✔ Possible, but:
⚠️ Must support both simultaneous data transfer and charging
❌ Most cables can only do charging
✔ MoErgo official cable has a built-in hub
Alternatives cables that can support data according to their specs:
RUXELY USB Male to Dual USB-C Female Splitter - amazon - google confirmed working
Vention USB 2.0 A Male to Dual USB-C Male Y-Splitter Cable Aluminum Alloy Type here
❌ Anker 2-in-1 USB-C to USB-C Cable (4 ft, 140W, Braided)
My understanding is that one of them (whichever the system negotiates first) gets the data connection.

DON'T USE THESE WITH THE MOERGO KEYBOARDS!
IT POSES A RISK OF DAMAGING YOUR KEYBOARDS AND BREAKS WARRANTY.
Important Note: Avoid Using Magnetic USB-C Cable Adapters
While Magnetic USB-C Cable adapters may seem convenient, we strongly advise against their use with the MoErgo Keyboards. Here’s why:
Compatibility Risks: Magnetic cables often deviate from official USB-C standards, leading to potential compatibility issues. Using them might result in unexpected behavior or damage to your device.
Static Electricity Hazard: The exposed pins in magnetic connectors make devices susceptible to static electricity. This could harm your MoErgo Keyboards if you accidentally touch the pins.
Data Loss and Instability: Magnetic cables can suffer from connection instability and data loss due to electronic noise. Opting for standard USB-C cables ensures reliable performance.
High Voltage Exposure: Poorly made magnetic cables may accidentally expose high voltage during connection. This poses a safety risk.
Lack of Industry Standard: Magnetic-tipped cables lack an official definition within the USB-C specification. Stick to certified USB-C cables to avoid potential damage.
Key tilters are small accessories that adjust the angle of keycaps on Kailh Choc switches for improved ergonomics and typing comfort.
You can print them with a 3d printer or get them in several shops:

Masqueey : Based on @Felborn's suggestion, I got some magic cloth wrap as a new sleeve for the Glove and it is fantastic. (They do have other prints if you don't like my cow one 😉)
If you search for Magic Cloth Wrap, you should be able to find them easily. Makes the keyboard a ton more portable but still more protected than a shirt.
I found found them on Ali Express with "magic cloth wrap",I have them in size 45x45cm:

M: My hands are so sweaty I can barely type before getting too uncomfortable with the keyboard.
There is one thing that fixed it completely for me and it's these bad boys
In labs people keep them on the whole day so why not

Preventing dust when not using it beats cleaning it later.
I use a record player dust cover from Aliexpress that keeps my MoErgo keyboard cozy and crumb-free while it chills on my desk during my absence, so the keys stay spotless and ready for action when I return. Got it fo a few euros on Aliexpress.

Soft Paintbrush
This works great for cleaning if you don’t have compressed air. Hold the MoErgo keyboard upside down and let the soft paintbrush bristles do their job, gently brushing away the dust.
Compressed Air
Turn the keyboard upside down and gently shake it to loosen debris. Use short bursts of compressed air at an angle between the keycaps.

Do black bumpers attract more dust?
Black silicone bumpers often feel softer and grippier, so they can pick up and drag dust across a desk more easily. Lighter-colored or smoother bumpers may slide more cleanly and also make dust less noticeable visually. That said, the material texture and hardness matter more than the color itself.
If your Glove80 keyboard is sliding on your desk, it is usually caused by surface dust, uneven feet, or insufficient grip between materials. The following methods help ensure a stable setup.
1. Level the Feet Properly
Make sure all keyboard feet are evenly adjusted and fully touching the desk surface. An uneven setup can reduce contact area and increase movement. See MoErgo doc
⚠️ Use O-rings and/or nuts on each foot as described in the official guide to ensure consistent height and stability.
2. Prevent Dust Build-up
Sliding is often caused by dust accumulating on silicone feet or the desk surface. Black silicone is naturally slightly tacky and can attract dust due to static and surface properties. To minimize dust accumulation:
Clean the Desk Surface: Use a microfiber cloth to remove dust and debris from your desk. For stubborn spots, lightly dampen the cloth with a wood-safe cleaner, ensuring you don't oversaturate the surface to protect the wood finish.
Clean the Silicone Feet!!! Gently wipe the silicone feet with a damp cloth to remove dust and grime. Ensure the feet are completely dry before placing the device back on the desk to prevent slipping.
Preventing dust when not using it beats cleaning it later!
Regular maintenance of both the desk surface and the silicone feet will help prevent unwanted movement of your device. 💡See also dust control section, dust cover!

3. Add weight (optional)
Some users improve stability by increasing the overall weight of the keyboard.
This can reduce movement on slick surfaces.
See the modding section for examples and user-tested approaches.
4. Use a Silicon Desk mat:
An alternative to modifying the keyboard is improving desk grip instead. As one user noted:
"There is really no reason to put any weight to the keyboard. Just use some silicon deskmate(even the one you can use for a cooking) Silicon feets on glove plus silicon on mate - no movement at all. - arelingl: " Source

⚠️Important: Before installing new bumpers, thoroughly remove any old adhesive residue, dust, or debris from the surface. A clean, dry surface is essential for proper adhesion and long-lasting attachment.
These rounded bumpers are better suitable if you have highter tenting angle
