2nd grade: Students were utilizing laptops to research about different pollinators that are native to our area and ones that will be beneficial in housing and maintaining in our pollinator gardens at KES.
3rd grade: Students were using Canva to create presentations on composting and the use of wormy composting at our school.
4th grade: Students were using Canva or PowerPoint presentations to share information on various types of foods, each group was assigned a specific food group they had to do research on and why it is important to helping us better understand our resources and answering the problem on food scarcity in our area.
5th grade: Students were conducting research on constructive and destructive forces as they are working on investigating areas of our living classroom that need to be improved upon.
Learning to Code
The STEM Club had fun learning how to code! Our club members used critical thinking skills to problem solve and program. We also talked about careers related to computer science.
