Welcome to Kingston Elementary School's STEM journey!
Kingston Elementary School began our STEM journey in 2019. Our STEM initiative began with the installment of STEM afternoons and LEGO robotics club. Our school has since incorporated a school-wide initiative to bring STEM into all classrooms for all students at KES.
At Kingston, we have instilled a STEM culture of learning and collaborating amongst all students and staff members. Kingston received Bartow County STEM certification in April 2022, and we continue to support our school's STEM initiative through showcasing our student's work and best instructional practices throughout the school year.
Our vision is to continue to grow and maintain our STEM culture at KES and to achieve state STEM certification.
Kingston ES is unique in that we have our very own outdoor classroom that has a pioneer cabin, one room schoolhouse, amphitheater, walking trails, bog pond, and native orchards!
Our students are able to observe and assist in the upkeep of our chickens located on campus!
Our students have developed a love for collaboration and team work all thanks to our STEM practices at KES!
