Isaac Allen married to Elizabeth Johnston was my great great grandfather.
This original headstone was removed to make way for a newer one
pictured below. Since it was taken down and placed in a horizontal position,
its condition has rapidly deteriorated and the inscription is difficult to read
His father was Isaac Allen b 1787 d 1867, married to Elizabeth Cadwell
and his grandfather was Joseph Allen b 1750 Co Armagh d 1829 Co Tyrone
His older brother was Joseph Allen of Tycanny b1785 Co Armagh d1870
and younger brother was Samuel Allen of Garvaghy b Co Armagh d 1863
When the three brothers came from Co Armagh to Tyrone, they were
reputed to have lived in the turkey house at Errigle now demolished
before they went their separate ways
This one is difficult to make out but I think it includes the following:
In loving memory of our dear father
Alexander Allen d 20.03.1923
Also our loving mother
Anne Jane Allen d 15.08.1932
This headstone contains the following inscription:
In memory of my dear departed parents Matthew McNaul who died
17th August1867 aged 71 years and his beloved wife Ann Allen who
died April 1st 1842 aged 55 years. Also in memory of their infant
children James Mc Naul who died in 1837 aged 1 year and 6 months
and Jane Mc Naul who died in 1841 aged 6 months
