BEST OF SNO
A new club came to Lancer Nation this past year, creating a place for students to express their beliefs.
This club faced a lot of pushback. After months of legal research and endless conversations, they were finally able to start The Lighthouse Club.
In addition to this club starting, a J1 reporter wrote an opinion article about her personal experiences with how/where religion is expressed in her school.
Since these articles were posted, we have had many Instagram direct messages and involvement between the two stories.
As we have grown the courage to write about topics that affect us, we are continuing to receive more feedback.
That is the point of a publication: to make the community talk. It's a marketplace of ideas.
