During the historical social justice movement of 2020, I attended a number of protests and saw a variety of different signs illustrating all of our many grievances. This gave me the idea to create a sign that was much more permanent than what I saw.

I wrote on my sneakers to symbolize that although the protests will conclude after a few months, the Black Lives Matter movement will never end.
