This set of work was created with a frantic mind filled with the thoughts and messages preached by the crowds of peaceful protesters throughout 2020’s demand for systemic change.

These recurring messages of the Black Lives Matter movement were scattered throughout all social media platforms and posters at the BLM marches for the purpose to be recognized as truth and emotion to be felt.

This work explores the visual representation of these statements. The power of the messages was felt throughout this year and shared momentum with me to create.

My purpose to make these collage was to understand the emotion, drive, and need for change.
