Together captures the faces of some but tells the story of us all during these troubling times.

This was painted during a time when the country felt a big divide in human rights. I wanted to convey a sense of hope while capturing the beauty of diversity and the hopeful unification of us all.

I’ve left the people’s faces unrecognizable because I want the viewers to put themselves in the figure’s shoes. It’s inclusive of everyone. The bright yellow daffodils represent rebirth and new beginnings.

We are all in this together, and if we band together, we can inspire change, growth, and beauty.
