FTC teams 208 Runic Robotics and 17621 Sea Dawgs are excited to host a FTC South Carolina Midlands Build/Practice day on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Lugoff-Elgin High School in Lugoff, South Carolina. The event will be held at the Lugoff-Elgin High School Annex building. The building is adjacent to the Lugoff-Elgin Middle School at 1244 U.S. Rte 1, Lugoff, SC 29078.
There is no cost for teams to attend. To sign up for the event, click here and provide your team information, including approximate number of people you are bringing to the event. We'd like to know this so we can plan for the refreshments the team plans to provide.
We will have a full FTC field so teams can spend time with their prototype robots on the field.

Below is our planned schedule:
9:30 am - Event starts
9:30 to 3 pm - Robot building, driving, sharing, eating, drinking, etc.
3 pm - Event ends
Come for part or all of the event!
We won't have a specified lunch break. The host teams will provide free drinks, snacks, fruit, and some other items throughout the event, including coffee for those that need it!
There are lots of fast food and other restaurants in the area. Here's a link starting with the ones closest to the facility: McDonalds, Cookout, KFC, Substation II, Bojangles, Hardees, Sonic, Leo's Wings, Taco Bell, Little Caesars Pizza, Zaxbys, Jersey Mikes, Chick-Fil-A, Arby's.

The event will be held at the Lugoff-Elgin High School Annex building. The Annex shared an entrance from Highway 1 with the Lugoff-Elgin Middle School. Here's a link to a pdf with the directions and parking info. The info is also shared on this page.
