I believe that it is very important for teachers to stay up to date on new advances and ideas. It is dangerous for teachers to think that once they have received their degree, they know everything they need to know, and they do not need to broaden their knowledge of education. I plan to keep up to date with my teaching skills by attending conferences, reading articles, and doing frequent research on education. I also plan to stay up to date on current events that are occurring within the education system.
I also plan to discuss ideas with my fellow colleagues. This will allow for us to help one another with ideas and how to improve our teaching abilities. I believe that discussion with fellow educators is a very helpful and important aspect of teaching.
